The lab is operated and the services are provided by AHELP Group, s.r.o., registered office Dvořákova 475, 252 64 Velké Přílepy, company ID (IČO) 01483056, VAT ID CZ01483056 ("the operator"). These terms govern the relationship between the operator and the customer (consumer) when providing services at Scent Lab Prague. By making a booking or paying on site, the customer confirms they have read and agree to these terms. The relationship is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Civil Code) and Act No. 634/1992 Coll. (Consumer Protection Act).
The service is a guided creative activity — an experience workshop in blending your own fragrance. The customer always blends the scent themselves following a guide with help from our team, and at the Saturday workshop under a perfumer's guidance; the operator provides the space, essences, bottle, guide and expert help. The customer takes home the scent they blended during the workshop as the result of their own creative work; it is included in the price of the service.
Scent Lab Prague does not sell perfumes or cosmetic products. The operator provides experience and educational services only (workshops, courses, group events) and gift cards for them.
Prices include VAT. The price valid at the time of booking (or on site) applies. Prices may change; confirmed bookings are not affected.
Regular mixing needs no booking — the contract is formed when the service begins on the premises. The Saturday workshop and group mixing are booked online via Reservio (scent-lab.reservio.com); the contract is formed on confirmation of the booking or payment of a deposit. A deposit of 390 CZK / person, credited towards the price, may be required for group bookings.
On the premises you can pay by cash or card. Deposits and online payments are handled by the booking system's payment tools. Any balance is paid on site.
A gift card is valid for 12 months from issue unless stated otherwise. It can be redeemed for services up to its value, cannot be exchanged back for money or cashed out, and is not replaced if lost.
A workshop or group booking can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge no later than 48 hours before it starts. For later cancellation or no-show, the paid deposit is not refunded (it covers the reserved capacity). The operator may cancel a session for serious reasons and will offer an alternative date or refund the amount paid.
Given the nature of the service, statutory exceptions to the 14-day right of withdrawal under § 1837 of the Civil Code apply:
An unused gift card bought online may be returned within 14 days of purchase if not yet redeemed.
If you have any concern about a service, contact info@scentlab.cz or speak to us on the premises. We handle complaints without undue delay, no later than 30 days. Rights from defective performance follow the Civil Code.
The lab is a scent-intensive environment. If you have allergies or are pregnant, let us know and we will adapt the palette. The activity is suitable from age 12; under-18s only with an accompanying adult. Please follow the instructions of our team and the perfumer.

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, coi.cz, is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. Disputes may also be resolved online via ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
The operator may amend these terms; the version in force when the order was placed applies to that order. The current version is always available at scentlab.cz/en/terms.html.
